As a tarot reader, I translate the messages of my clients’ wise Inner Voice…
That is my function.
Nothing more.
A tarot reader is not a therapist.
Or a coach.
I do not offer “life counselling” either — whatever that may mean.
The only thing I do: put into words, as accurately and clearly as possible, what my client’s Inner Voice wishes to tell her.
The medium I rely on for this are tarot cards.
And dreams.
This works remarkably well. Even though nobody knows quite why.
My position is: whoever contacts me has an urgent need to enter into dialogue with their own wise Inner Voice.
That, at least, is how I see it.
Unfortunately, this perspective is not always shared. Instead of opening up to a dialogue with themselves, many expect me to read them a beautiful story about their life from the cards.
Happy ending included.
And all of that without any personal effort, personal change, or sacrifice.
These are expectations I can rarely meet.
In fact, never.
Because everyone has some unfinished business.
And people who are completely happy and content do not ask for a card reading.
I am convinced that my clients have all been sent to me by their wise Inner Voices.
“Make an appointment!”, they whisper.
“Help me make myself heard!”, they plead.
When the karmic conditions are right, the potential client — spurred on by her frustrated wise Inner Voice — comes across my contact details.
And if the wise Inner Voice is insistent enough, it can even happen that the potential client becomes an actual client.
Which is a great relief to the wise Inner Voice.
Of that I am convinced. Even though my translation skills are certainly not always perfect.
But the wise Inner Voice thinks: “Better than nothing!”
Because most people have never learned to cultivate contact with their wise Inner Voice.
Our modern Western civilisation, with its hectic pace and endless distractions, does quite the opposite — it does everything it can to prevent this contact.
With the result that many people feel that despite considerable effort — and despite doing everything “right” — they are somehow missing their own life.
While their wise Inner Voice throws up its hands in frustration and has gone quite hoarse from shouting!
Whoever ends up with me has already cleared several hurdles.
But then comes the moment of truth. The first card reading!
The cards are on the table — literally.
While the wise Inner Voice breathes a sigh of relief at finally being heard, my clients’ egos reliably suffer a nervous breakdown.
Because egos are very sensitive when it comes to the naked facts of life.
Mine included, I should add. I know all too well the pain that unexpected contact with reality can bring.
But it is also one of my personal truths how deeply fulfilling it can be to listen to the wise Inner Voice.
Because then miracles happen…
